LiveVol Excel Add-in Installation Instructions
- Open the LiveVol Excel Add-in® .exe file from your order confirmation. Administrator privileges are required for installation.
- You must be signed in to LiveVol to view updates in LiveVol Excel.
- Start the LiveVol Platform (open a browser and login at https://pro.livevol.com/)
- Enter your username and password.
To get started, open the Excel sample spreadsheet from your order confirmation. This spreadsheet will have example formulas for each field that is available via the add-in. You may use as a guide to create your own custom spreadsheet.
LiveVol Excel Troubleshooting
Connection Failed! - error message pop up is visible:
- Check Firewall - This suggests a firewall is blocking LiveVol Excel. Please take the steps to unblock the following IP addresses:
- 198.160.148.0/24, port 443
- 198.160.149.0/24, port 443
- 198.160.150.0/24, port 443
- Check Connectivity - Please check that you can connect to the following address in a web browser: http://ws1.lve.livevol.com/ExcelClientEndpoint/Service.svc
Anti-Virus Software - If you are blocked by your anti-virus software:
- Add permissions for the folder where you have installed LiveVol Excel Add-in. By default, LiveVol Excel Add-in and its sub-directories are installed in: C:\Livevol\
HTTP Proxy - If your computer works through an HTTP Proxy:
- Run the installer again and enter the HTTP Proxy when asked for under "Additional Parameters".
